The museum of contemporary art of Nice, open since 1990, is dedicated to modern and contemporary art. Its collection offers a selection of artworks from the artistic avant-garde from the end of the 1950s to today.

L'Espace de l'Art Concret is a contemporary art center endowed with an abstract art collection unequalled in France: the Albers-Honegger Donation (part of the French national contemporary art collection), with more than 600 works of art. The eac. joins history with the XVIth century castle and the contemporary with the Donation building (architects Annette Gigon/Mike Guyer) in the park redeveloped by Gilles Clément.
