La pratique pluridisciplinaire de Claudia Comte explore la mémoire des matériaux organiques et l’évolution du rapport entre artisanat et technologie. Alliant peinture, sculpture et architecture, son travail examine l’intersection entre systèmes naturels et processus numériques dans un contexte de crise écologique. Whoever Has Learned How to Listen to Trees, dixième œuvre d’une série de peintures murales autoportantes et première à intégrer un texte (tiré de l’essai On Trees de Hermann Hesse), déploie sur 3 x 6 mètres des motifs en boucles noir et blanc évoquant fractales, spirales, vents, bandes de Möbius et courants marins. Conçue pour le Domaine du Muy, l’œuvre se lit autant visuellement que spatialement, remettant en question les limites du cadre pictural et reflétant les recherches de Comte sur les systèmes de forme, de perception et d’environnement.
